Summer is here in Japan and that can only mean that it’s time to prepare for a few sure things: the Tokyo heat, the beach and the outdoor music festivals. The more well known fests include the likes of Fuji Rock in the last week of July (30th, 31st, 1st), Summer Sonic on the first weekend of August (7th and 8th) and Metamorphorse in the first week of September (4th and 5th). For those of you out there looking for something fresh this upcoming holiday weekend, then there’s no place to look but AUDIO, a new festival in Tokyo by the Harumi Seaside Terminal near Kachidoki station. Being that you don’t have to venture too far to get there, it’s likely to be a fine choice for many people who enjoy music, friends and being outdoors in the summer (with an ocean breeze to boot!).
